Regulations for the "Hałda On The Air" HOTA 2025 Diploma Campaign

  1. The HOTA 2025 diploma campaign runs from April 1, 2025, to November 30, 2025.

  2. During the HOTA 2025 campaign, you can earn 4 diplomas:

    • „Bronze Hunter” – 5 points

    • „Silver Hunter” – 10 points

    • „Gold Hunter” - 20 points

    • „Diamond Hunter” - 40 points

    • A special TOP HOTA HUNTER 2025 diploma is provided for the station that makes the most contacts with the HF25HOTA station.

  3. Points in the HOTA 2025 campaign are awarded to any station that makes contact with HF25HOTA, which will operate from the mining heaps listed in point 5 of these regulations.

  4. Contacts must be made on amateur bands in compliance with the IARU Band Plan using FM, SSB, or DIGI modulation.

  5. Participating Heaps in the HOTA 2025 Campaign (with assigned numbering):

    • H-01 Hałda Kostuchna (Katowice)

    • H-02 Hałda Murcki (Katowice)

    • H-03 Hałda Skalny (Łaziska Górne)

    • H-04 Hałda Marta Waleska (Łaziska Górne)

    • H-05 Hałda Sośnica (Gliwice)

    • H-06 Hałda Makoszowy (Gliwice)

    • H-07 Hałda Ziemowit (Lędziny)

    • H-08 Hałda Paciorkowce (Bieruń)

    • H-09 Hałda Bielszowice nad Kłodnicą(Ruda Śląska)

    • H-10 Hałda Gliwice Ostropa (Gliwice)

    • H-11 Hałda Rozbark (Bytom)

    • H-12 Hałda Popłuczkowa (Tarnowskie Góry)

    • H-13 Hałda Powstańców Śląskich (Bytom)

    • H-14 Hałda Ruda (Zabrze)

  6. Points are awarded as follows: 1 point = 1 QSO/mode/band/day.

    • Bands and modulations cannot be repeated on the same day "dupe"

  7. All contacts with HF25HOTA count toward the TOP HOTA HUNTER 2025 diploma

  8. The issued diploma will be available for download on the HOTA website under the Ranking tab or by entering your sign in the "Check your results" field and clicking "search".

  9. Details about planned activations for the HOTA 2025 campaign will be shared through:

    • The HOTA website
    • The SIERRA ECHO Discord server on the "Field Activations" channel
    • Post on our Facebook page
